Swiss civilian service
It is not possible to undertake civilian service with the SRC outside Switzerland. You can find civilian service vacancies at the SRC headquarters in Bern and Wabern on the website of the Federal Office for Civilian Service.
Our national headquarters in Bern and Wabern mainly employ administrative staff, university graduates and specialists in the following fields: health and integration, international cooperation, marketing and communication, finance, human resources and services.

As a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we also work in other countries. We are active in emergency relief, reconstruction after disasters and development cooperation.
Our international cooperation programmes are carried out in close cooperation with local partner organizations. The SRC’s international and local specialists work in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. We also work with our local partners’ many volunteers.
