Apprentices and interns

We offer apprenticeships and internships for young people with an interest in humanitarian issues. We are unable to offer internships for school pupils.

Apprentices

During your apprenticeship, you will gain an insight into how the SRC works and receive targeted hands-on training.

  • Office clerk–bookkeeper (EFZ/CFC) (services and administration)

  • Mediamatician (EFZ/CFC) (prerequisite: double foundation year at BiCT or comparable training)

  • IT specialist (EFZ/CFC) (prerequisite: foundation year at BiCT or comparable training)

  • Graphic designer (EFZ/CFC)

  • Professional carer (EFZ/CFC) – general care branch

  • Cook (EFZ/CFC)

  • Catering specialist (EFZ/CFC)

  • Kitchen assistant (EBA/AFP)

  • Catering assistant (EBA/AFP)

Internships

The SRC has the following internship opportunities:

We offer six- or twelve-month internships for students as part of their bachelor’s degree in social work at one of the universities below.
The internships are in the following services: Tracing Service and Outpatient Clinic for Victims of Torture and War (in German).
