The SRC’s work is made possible by the invaluable support it receives from various public authorities, companies and foundations. On behalf of the federal and cantonal authorities, we carry out specific service agreements. We use the funds we receive responsibly and cost-effectively, and in accordance with their intended or contractually specified purpose. Always with the aim of making the biggest impact.

Strategic partners
Through strategic partnership agreements, we set out a multi-year cooperation with each partner to achieve jointly agreed goals in favour of particularly vulnerable people. These agreements are the closest form of cooperation between the SRC and a business partner for a long-term sustainable benefit.
Colin&Cie
The Colin&Cie Social Responsibility Fund enables the company’s customers to invest in sustainable instruments, thereby supporting the SRC’s work promoting greater equality of opportunity and less poverty in the world. Colin&Cie and its investors use a proportion of their proceeds to help fund local Red Cross projects in Switzerland.
Coop
Since 2015, the Coop and the SRC have shared the goal of helping people living in poverty. The Coop supports us by generously donating large quantities of merchandise to the 2 x Christmas campaign and the sale of Grittibänz with an integrated donation. On Good Deeds Day, the Coop joins the SRC and other partners in encouraging the Swiss population to do a good deed.
Helsana
As a strategic partner of the SRC, Helsana shows its commitment to the health and well-being of the Swiss population. Together, we strive to ensure that as many people as possible can provide and receive first aid in an emergency.
Novartis
Novartis’s work with the SRC is based upon shared values and the aim of promoting good health, building resilience and providing support for people in need. Under this strategic partnership, Novartis helps fund ‘chili’, a conflict prevention programme. Internationally, Novartis provides support for disaster risk reduction in Honduras, community resilience building in Togo, and the healthcare centres operating in the refugee camps in Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. Additionally, Novartis supports our acute emergency assistance.
Swiss Post
The SRC entered into a strategic partnership with Swiss Post in 2022. Together, we help fight poverty in Switzerland through the 2 x Christmas campaign and year-long support for people who have suddenly found themselves in financial difficulties.
