SRC Family Reunification Service

The SRC Family Reunification Service is committed to reuniting families of asylum seekers. As a rule, we reply to enquiries by e-mail or with brief advice over the phone; in-depth legal support is only possible in exceptional cases. In addition, we carry out the groundwork and engage in dialogue with politicians and the authorities.

GOOD TO KNOW

Core family

The SRC understands the term in the extended sense: we take this to mean not only parents and children but also

  • social parents (e.g. foster parents)

  • siblings in certain constellations

  • persons with a close dependency relationship

In addition to close relatives (classic core family), other reference persons may also count as family members. The focus is on social ties and special dependency relationships.
