General Terms & Conditions for the recognition chatbot
Consult the Terms of Use for the Swiss Red Cross recognition chatbot. The chatbot is a multilingual tool that provides advice on having foreign qualifications recognized in Switzerland, and is governed by the user agreement, data protection and disclaimers.
1. Scope of application
These General Terms & Conditions (GTC) govern the use of the recognition chatbot made available by the Swiss Red Cross (hereinafter ‘the provider’) on its website. This chatbot helps users with the procedure to have their foreign qualifications recognized in Switzerland. Use of the chatbot requires unreserved acceptance of these GTC.
2. Service
The multilingual recognition chatbot provides information and advice about having foreign qualifications recognized in Switzerland. The provider does not collect any personal details, such as names or email addresses. Any processing is limited to generic requests to improve the user experience and optimize the advisory process.
3. Disclaimer
a. The information provided by the chatbot is of a general nature and does not constitute legal advice. The provider assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information.
b. The use of the chatbot is at the user's own risk. The provider is not liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use or inability to use the chatbot.
c. The provider does not guarantee that the chatbot will function uninterruptedly or without error. No liability is accepted for technical malfunctions, loss of information or other impairments.
4. No personal details or confidential information
The user undertakes not to enter any personal details or confidential information in the chatbot. The chatbot is designed to respond only to generic requests. Entering personal details or confidential information could jeopardize the user’s privacy and does not comply with the purpose of the chatbot.
5. Copyright
The content and any information provided by the chatbot are protected by copyright. Any use of such content and information outside of the use of the chatbot requires the prior written consent of the provider.
6. Changes to the GTC
The provider reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time without notice. Continued use of the chatbot subsequent to any amendments is taken as agreement with the new GTC.
7. Final provisions
Should any individual provisions of these GTC be invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
8. Jurisdiction and applicable legislation
All disputes arising from or in connection with the use of the chatbot shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. The jurisdiction is the domicile of the provider.
