An ex-post impact study of five health projects of the Swiss Red Cross

Grounded in health policy of the Swiss Red Cross (SRC), the core aim of its health projects is to improve equitable access to health services. This analytical review is a meta-analysis of five individual country studies conducted in Ghana, Laos, Cambodia, Bolivia and Nepal assessing the long-term effects concerning equitable access years after the SRC has phased out its support. The publication describes contributing factors to as well as the remaining challenges in sustained access for the poorest and most vulnerable population groups.
